米Microsoftは6月25日（現地時間、以下同）、次期「Microsoft Edge」の“Dev”チャンネルをアップデートした（v77.0.197.1）。“Microsoft Edge Insider”からWindows 10版とMac版が無償でダウンロード可能。翌26日からはWindows 7/8/8.1向け“Dev”版の提供も開始されている。
そのほかにもリンクのスマートコピーを利用する際、タイトルを取得するためにバックグラウンドでの通信を許可するかどうかを指定するオプションを導入。PDFツールバーにページ内検索のためのボタンが追加された。 ショッピング機能 の強化や安定性の向上も図られている。
