日本ハムは10日、ファイターズベースボールアカデミーで、野球未経験者や初心者を対象としたスクール「FIRST STEP supported by KOKAJI」を開講すると、発表した。日本の少年野球の競技人口の減少を踏まえ、子どもたちに野球の楽しさを伝え、将来的な競技人口増加を目指すもの。対象は年長から小学2年までの未経験者、初心者。会場は日本ハムの本拠地エスコンフィールドを用いる。
