Laser cladding 3D printing (also known as laser cladding molding) technology eliminates the need for molds. A part model is created using CAD software, and after computer programming, a beam of laser light is used to scan the workpiece, melting the metal powder and fusing it layer by layer until a dense metal part is formed. This technology can create metal parts in one step, and the resulting dense metal part, after intelligent process control, is near-net-shape, requiring almost no subsequent
