Ball python (Python regius) on display has laid some eggs for us. We are not very big on breeding Ball Pythons with all the mutations so this is as far as our projects go with them. Ball pythons are amazing snakes and very popular as pets. The most amazing thing I have seen is an individual that used to roll into a ball to protect the head and then lash out with a massive strike before returning into a ball. Most Ball Pythons when concerned just stay in a ball and don't strike. Then some others

🎉 Surprise du jour : une ponte inattendue !Une femelle Python regius pastel pied nous a pondu 6 œufs alors qu’on ne bosse plus vraiment cette espèce depuis des années. Elle avait été proposée avec un mâle lors du dernier speed deal. On les avait mis ensemble pour l’occasion… Le couple n’a pas trouvé preneur, mais le lendemain, surprise : on les surprend en plein accouplement ! 😅Résultat, on a relancé un incubateur à 31°C, et maintenant… y’a plus qu’à patienter ! 🤞🐍. #reptilis #reptilis_breed
