My next shelf item was our wedding day. In the Mormon church it is customary to be married and sealed in the temple. We did not, we chose to be married civilly outside of the temple. There was so much focus on the lack of going to the temple and getting us there, that they forgot to focus on celebrating our wedding. It was like a funeral. I'd love to hear your wedding stories!
