It's time to play with your feet! We love to find new or different uses for our favorites. Using the 3-hole yarn foot for elastic shirring was surprisingly easy. We chose a wide 3-step zig zag stitch to stitch ours, making sure to secure the ends of the elastic with back stitching, but you could definitely try different stitches and even decorative thread to make the stitching a feature. Use the Ruffler Attachment to create ruching! Remove the ankle and attach the Ruffler. Adjust the bar for the amount of ruffles every stitch, 6th stitch, or 12th stitch. Place fabric in the foot between the metal pieces. Ruffle down both sides of the fabric to create ruching. Attach the Narrow Edge foot for the IDT system and engage the IDT system. Place one piece of fabric next to one side of the center blade. Place another piece of fabric or lace next to the other side of the center blade. Select a zigzag stitch to sew the two pieces of fabric and/or trim together.
