Matthew Denny just recorded the fifth-longest discus throw of all time, becoming the first Australian break the 70m mark with a 72.07m effort at the Oklahoma Throws series on Sunday. The 28-year-old Queenslander, who won bronze with a 69.31m throw at the Paris Olympics last year, eclipsed both Rojé Stona's gold medal-winning throw of 70.00m at Paris 2024, and his own national record of 69.96m set in the Diamond League final last year. | SBS Sport
