Operant Conditioning is utilized around our zoo. We work with our animals through positive reinforcement training to strengthen proactive and voluntary health care. This proactive care includes; target and/or station training, weight collection, hooftrims, body part presentations, shifting from one space to another, just to name a handful of behavioral goals.
